the princess’s throne is in a grove of holy trees at the foot of the holy mountains.
the earth glows with the sacred yellow light of the spirit.
petals of sacred geometry landing softly on her shoulders, on her nose. she subtly shimmers with the spark of a thousand endings and beginnings.
her rounded stomach… earth of earth. death to the green. void of galaxies. brimming with loss & dreams. portal between worlds.
the seeds of wonder, of beauty & terror, of fullness of love, of mischief and awe… buried. forgotten in wintry slumber.
sip slowly, love. follow the golden thread of warmth down down down tumbling, slithering, seeping into the depths.
pull the furs tighter around your shoulders.
sink into you our own depths.
into the sparkly dreams.
the meaty yearning.
be held in the relief of total silence and let death breathe you. smoke you. devour you and make you anew. as she does.
a tender new bud is bound to burst through. but not yet.
not yet.
first you must feel.
close your eyes and feel the quality of newness now entering your life.

this piece is part of my “under the giant trees” series - inspired by plant medicine and nature friends.
amongst the delectable textures of these paintings, you will find ethereal glimpses of tea, roses, poppies, cannabis, mushroomiez of all kinds, spider webs, chamomile, crows, antlers, and more.
