one of the more personal pieces i’ve ever painted. i created this piece as a reflection on resilience in and through difficult circumstances. ⁣

she is built upon a thrifted canvas and she came to life with many many layers of paint, oil pastels, found, torn, burned, dyed, stitched, and rust dyed papers, and little bits of magic i tucked between the layers. ⁣

10”x30” gallery wrapped canvas, wired and ready to hang. it would also look lovely in a floating frame.

initialed on the front. signed, titled and dated on the reverse.
