hello, darlings.

are you like me... and often, when following your heart, it leads you straight to the fridge?

remember the one rule? no judgments.

when your inner artist gets hungry, she craves more than physical sustenance. she desires delight and deep soul nourishment.

the key is in what you keep your kitchen stocked with. do you gather the ingredients that give you energy or keep you sluggish? are you honoring the vessel of your body with what you feed it? do you allow yourself joyful treats every so often?

you deserve to be fed well. body and soul. take time to gather the foods that feel deeply nourishing. slow down and experience your food with all of your senses. think wonder, curiosity, delight.

let your inner artist play with her food.
you’ll draw a theme from the pot to make it more exciting (nerve-wracking?). no cheating, please. run with the prompt that you draw first. here are the options:

cheese board, slow and comforting, unexpected pickle, most hated childhood food, decadence, tea, savory, favorite childhood cookie, popcorn, chocolate, sweet dreams, cocktail, umami, dough.

the video is of how i played with "sexy fruit".

i went for decadence, yet sometimes i crave simplicity: soft scrambled eggs with sauerkraut for breakfast, a simple garlic and herb cream soup when i need comforting, a thick slice of artisan bread slathered with glistening thick grass fed butter and a handful of cherry tomatoes when i need grounding.

notice my decadence comes with a bottle of $3 wine and all thrifted vessels? finding luxury in simplicity is pure alchemy that sparks joy in your inner artist like no other.

are you still here? go on, have some fun in the kitchen!

love,
-anca.
