GRIEF - after watching the GRIEF & GRATITUDE teaching video, practice moving through grief, rage, and sadness in your body, whenever necessary. you can not transmute any frustrating unwanted patterns into pure creative energy until you have thoroughly grieved the painful situation causing you to get stuck.
set a container for yourself in a space where you have privacy for 15 minutes. play some music that tugs at your heart strings and get on the floor. a mat, blankets, and pillows help.
move through the grief as your body responds to the music intuitively. send your breath to the places in your body where you hold tension, and breathe out the heaviness, darkness, bitterness. sound as you feel led: growling, raging, sighing. whatever wants to be expressed, express it.
end in savasana, or wrapped up in blankets with a cup of camomile tea.
GRATITUDE - practice gratitude often and with all of your heart. you can journal or tell yourself in the mirror all the things you are grateful for. first thing in the morning, just before bedtime, and all throughout the day. say it, sing it, dance it. tell the people and things who support you you love them and appreciate the heck out of them. and they will appreciate you right back.
